George's Cream was created in 1997 when a pharmacist named George Doherty was asked by a local dermatologist to create a moisturizing cream that contained fewer ingredients than creams that were currently on the market.
George, and his partner Skip Gibson, created a dry skin cream that was both hypoallergenic and fragrance free. Georges Cream also contains no lanolin, paraben, urea or gluten to irritate the skin. None of the products that George sells has ever been tested on animals.
This Special Dry Skin Cream has a number of beneficial uses in addition to just treating dry skin. Patients, dermatologists and pharmacists report that this company's creams work well in treating a variety of conditions including eczema, psoriasis, winter itch, summer itch, windburn, sunburn and skin problems on the feet associated with diabetes.
George's Special Dry Skin Cream is available in 450 gram bottles, 90 gram tubes and 30 gram tubes that are convenient for carrying in purses or backpacks.
In addition to the original cream, George has created George's Light Special Moisturizing Lotion. This is a lighter cream than the original, but it is still useful for the same troublesome skin conditions. This lighter cream is available in a 360ml pump bottle as well as in a smaller 30ml size tube.
